Very Handy April 9, 2010 Zachary Shalla I bought this on a whim, and it has turned out to be one of my most useful purchases over the past few years. The knife especially, and the screw drivers as well, are extremely useful and necessary, especially in an emergency outside of your home. Speaking as a former boyscout, this is the next best thing to keeping a coleman or swiss ary knife on you at all times.
Great design... If only it worked March 14, 2010 Anthony (Johnson City, NY) I bought this for use as a bottle opener. Thing is I cant get it to open bottles. I don't know how hard you have to do it, but seeing as how there is a knife pushing into my thumb, I cant apply any more pressure without cutting myself. I wanted a compact opener, but it doesn't work. If you need a tiny knife or screwdriver then here ya go. I guess its great if you want to fumble with your keys to stab someone, but only with a little knife so that they learn their lesson.
Too Perfect? February 18, 2010 Elderbear (Loma Linda, Aztlan) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is not a full-sized tool! But mine has performed well for guerrilla hacking my environment at work or for getting into things I'm not supposed to when I didn't have the foresight to bring tools. Pretty much any larger tool will be easier to use.
This one is "too perfect" because in several instances I've gone to grab a tool and forgotten that I had this one on my key ring. It's so "perfect" that I've accidentally carried it on board aircraft. In fact, the only security check that has ever noticed it was at the San Bernardino County Courthouse in San Bernardino.
Incidentally, I showed mine to a friend who is a chemical dependency counselor. His only comment was that it would make a good roach clip! I've never tried using that "functionality," but I've used the others. One can open it up a bit and get a bit of leverage on the screwdrivers. I've gotten a lot of use out of the Philips head screwdriver.
I love mine.
More dangerous than useful February 10, 2010 B. Rutledge (Las Vegas, NV USA) The most useful part of the tool is the phillips screwdriver, something not found in many pocket knifes - but to use it, you must open (and grasp) the very sharp blade. I got a small cut 2 of the 3 times I used it for that purpose, then I quit carrying it.
Dangerous design December 15, 2009 Paul H. Wyand (Plattakill, NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ok I really like the small straight blade screw driver. It is great for eyeglasses. All other aspects of this thing are down right dangerous. I don't know who allowed this thing to be made. In order to use half the tools you have to hold a very small and sharp blade and twist. I cut my self several times. I really need to throw it away, but that small flat blade screw driver is the only one that works in a pair of glasses I own. Oh and try to open a bottle, you have to pry with the sharp end of the blade! Stupid design.
