No more guessing... July 28, 2010 Chris D (PA) The fuel tank sending unit and/or gauge on my 20 year old Bayliner had become erratic. I ordered this sending unit along with a dirt cheap Sunpro gauge for about $35 combined. Following the instructions, I took my time assembling and adjusting the float, and about an hour later... No more guessing my fuel level, dead on accurate!
Easy install, works great July 12, 2010 James K (Salt Lake City, UT) Bought this fuel sending unit to replace one that stopped working in our boat. I was initially sceptical because of the price. After reading through the instructions quickly, I was able to install this sending unit in a matter of minutes. While filling the tank back up with fuel I was able to watch the attached gauge move smoothly to full. After taking this boat out on the water (rough water) I noticed that the gauge didn't bounce nearly as bad as it had previously. Definitely a great value.
Price Too Good to be True - It Was April 23, 2010 Hihitek (Honolulu, HI) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ordered a part for my Honda that priced out at 3x the price everywhere else. No problems with the order or vendor shipping the item. At the time I placed the order I confirmed that the part would fit my car using the utility provided. Everything checked out. The part arrived within a couple days in good condition. The part was of good quality but was not OEM. I noticed immediately that the electrical connectors were not the same. For the price, I figured it would be still worthwhile to modify it to make it work. No dice. It was a lesson learned. Not very costly in money terms but nevertheless too good to be true.
nice sender March 6, 2010 James M. Nichols (Interlaken NY) I bought this sending unit to use in my tow behind air compresser gas tank. I thought I would have to do some modifications but I didn't have to. the bolt pattern was the same and it fit perfect. Instructions are simple and show you how to set it up with just a tape measure and a screw driver. I used it with a equus 8363 gauge.
Item arrived on time and in good condition. January 25, 2010 Marven Johnson The item arrived on time and in good condition.Since, I bought for somebody, I can't make a comment as to how the item itself works.
