I use to borrow my friends battery charger to start my riding lawn mower. It gave a really quick start.
However, I was tired of being a moocher so I bought this product. It gets the job done but it is much slower than expected.
The good thing about this product is that the price was right, it is lightweight and the clamps really hold fast to the terminals.

This is the 2nd Schumacher charger have bought. I have cars, tractors and motorcycles that all use 6 volt battery's and with the move to electronic charges, 6 volt chargers have become less available. Thank you Schumacher for filling in the need and supporting the antique users! As for the charger, it works. the auto stop and trickle charge is great!

The charger will not work if the battery is completely dead with less than 1 volt available. Must use a manual charger to bring up battery to a sufficient level of "nearly dead" for product to charge the battery. If you're looking for something that will recharge a totally dead battery look elsewhere.

Yes i left the lights on ,sent for the schumacher charger fast,got it in two days,charged on #2 ,readout said full after 6 hrs,worked like a charm,yes ,and it saved me.A must for every household
