Great product, a little noisy May 10, 2010 Paul Erskine (Everett, Washington United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great little product and powered my 15" MacBook Pro just fine.
Pros:
Fits in a cup holder
(2) 120V outlets
(1) 5V USB outlet
Cons:
Somewhat Loud... noticeable with normal conversation.
Air in-take at the bottom, so you better not put this in a tight cup holder.
Smells bad when first used.
Failed after three uses March 15, 2010 M. MacIver (Chicago, IL United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a poorly designed device. As someone else has written in their review, mine worked a few times and now alarms as soon as it is plugged in, even if nothing is attached. The fan is at the bottom of the unit, where it can't get air in most cup holders, so it's an inherently bad design.
Noisy, Outlets to close together February 17, 2010 Aleksey Uzinsky Loud fan keeps cutting on and off under light load could be bothersome to some people. The outlets are too close together for two chargers to be plugged in at once. Does not look that stylish once you plug something in it. If you have the space for it buy the regular brick style inverter.
Coffe cup inverter February 16, 2010 CL (New Orleans) The inverter works fine and has a nice look to it. I wish the base of the cup were a little wider to fit in my cupholder better. It tapers in and ends up being smaller than a regular size cup meant for a cupholder. But I am happy with its performance.
great product February 3, 2010 mindy (portland oregon) great product. love the cup design. it kept three teenagers electronically plugged in for a 2000 mile car trip! what a wonder!!
