My daughter was able to pull on the shade so that it pulled right out of the roller. She did this to both of them, so they were unusable. Each one only lasted about 10 minutes in the car. If you have a curious child, I wouldn't purchase these.

it would be ok if ALL car windows are the same size! I guess everything can't be perfect!

I actually purchased these to shade my desk window at work, since our existing shades don't help much and the sun blinds me in the afternoon. They were inexpensive and easy to install, but unfortunately don't do much to block direct sunlight. They might be okay in the car, but if you're looking for something to significantly darken and/or block direct sun, this isn't going to do it.
